Levi grew up in Newton Kansas playing football for the Newton Railers, signing in the Newton Railaires, and was a member of the Kansas All-State Jazz Band. He attended college at UMKC and later was accepted to Washburn Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate. 

Prior to becoming the Barton County Attorney, Levi served clients in personal injury, bankruptcy, criminal defense, divorce, child custody & support, juvenile and parental rights, business formations, structured settlements, wills and trusts, zoning law, and tax appeals for Rice County. His private practice reached 23 different Kansas Counties and included serving as Judge Pro Tem for the City of Hoisington and Rice County District Court.

Levi lives in Great Bend with his wife Chelsea (a GBHS alum) and their two dogs, Stevie and Jack-Jack. An avid trumpet player, in his spare time Levi performs with the Great Bend City Band and the Newton Mid-Kansas Symphony Orchestra.
